What You Will Be Doing
The crewing department includes several HR subsystems, and as a Crew Analyst – Talent Attraction – you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our MSS operations.
You’ll drive alignment on talent attraction strategies and process along with the Crew Manager, will execute the talent attraction process, and build a sustainable pool of skilled professionals by leading our cadet programme—supporting the growth and development of new seafarers and helping them thrive in their maritime careers.
Who You Are
First and foremost, you are passionate about the maritime industry, talent attraction and enjoy building up trusted relationships, and you recognize the game-changing potential by working in crewing and the positive effect that you can bring to people’s life. In addition, we hope you can say yes to the following:
- Proficiency in verbal and written English and Portuguese.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Administration or related areas.
- MBA in Human Resource is preferable for this position.
- 3 years of previous experience in similar roles. Previous roles in the Maritime industry would be an advantage.
- Has a strategic mindset and understands how talent drives business success.
- Build strong networks and knows how to attract top talent through authentic engagement.
- Communicates with clarity and impact—whether crafting employer branding or engaging with candidates.
- Makes quality decisions quickly and confidently, even in fast-paced environments.
- Champions diversity and inclusion, valuing different perspectives and backgrounds.
- Is customer-focused, always thinking about the candidate experience.
- Thrives on collaboration, influencing stakeholders and aligning hiring needs across teams.
- Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail in managing crew data, cost control, and vessel planning, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.
- Process Improvement & Quality Focus: Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance procedures and energise the team through continuous improvement.
