What You Will Be Doing
Your main responsibility will be to will provide first-class legal support to our business in Brazil, working closely with the commercial . In this role, you'll be responsible for drafting, reviewing, qualifying, and negotiating a wide range of contractual instruments related to our operations, including complex offshore service contracts and subcontracts. Additionally, you will advise on and establish corporate structures and manage our legal presence in Brazil, with the potential to expand into new areas of operation.

- Working with and managing cooperation with local law firms
- Advising on and handling of legal disputes and regulatory matters
- Explaining legal and contractual matters to other departments and management
- Understanding and managing complex liability and risk scenarios and presenting to other departments and management.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in law or related fields and a master’s degree in shipping or contract law, or a related area. We seek a Brazilian-qualified lawyer with 4-7 years of experience from a reputable law firm or international organization.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Portuguese.
