As our new Project Operations Assistant for Maersk Supply Service, you will support execution of a pioneer Project in Brazil. Your primary responsibility will be to control that Project actions are properly handled and documented, while assists the team to deliver the Project within schedule. You will report to the Project Operations and Logistics Manager and will play a key role in ensuring, together with the team members, that preparations for operations offshore are done taking into consideration vessel, Project and Client specific needs, helping your Manager to monitor that operations are carried out smoothly and within MSS standards.
What You Will Be Doing
Your main responsibility is to assist on Project operations preparations as requested. This will involve:
- Collaborate with client in a proficient manner during meetings.
- Assists with Control of Project related paperwork.
- In the absence of the Project Logistics and Operations Manager, interfaces between various stakeholders, Logistics Base, Port, Vessels, authorities.
- Ensure that Minutes of Meeting of operations meeting is properly documented and that all minutes are duly followed up, actioned and recorded.
- Follow Client audits onboard Project vessels and onshore support bases.
- Capture Lessons learned and suggest improvement points.

- Has relevant experience (min. 1 year) from working in the offshore marine industry preferably with subsea constructions or marine operations.
- Is a problem solver and has the ability to foresee operational challenges in advance
- Has the ability to communicate at all levels, pro-active and open in communication with all interfacing parties both internally and externally.
- Has a proactive mindset.
- Fluency in verbal and writing communication in Portuguese and English is a must have for the position.
The position is for Monday to Friday hybrid work from Rio de Janeiro-RJ OR Angra dos Reis-RJ, travel expected occasionally
