Key responsibilities:

As our new Junior Quality Engineer, you will support the Quality Manager in the Quality Projects area of Maersk Supply Service Brazil. The role includes:

  • Assist in preparation of documents such as the Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans and other project documents.
  • Check the progress of all non-conformity reports (NCRs) issued on the Project.
  • Participate in internal, customer and subcontractors meetings and contributing ideas and suggestions for improvements.
  • Provide support to lead auditor in project audits (internal and subcontractors).
  • Support the dissemination of a positive Quality culture among all project stakeholders.
  • Collect lessons learned from the project and submit to Quality Manager for analysis.
  • Provide support in preparation of project final data book.
  • Monitor project performance indicators.

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 19011 standards.
  • Preferably, have a professional qualification in Quality Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with QA/QC from the Offshore industry will be considered a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese.

The position will be based in Rio de Janeiro.
