This is a unique opportunity to join Maersk Supply Service, a leading solutions provider for our clients in the Offshore Energy sector.

You will join the Maersk Supply Service office in Rio de Janeiro, reporting to the local Senior Contracts Analyst and offering support to both the Senior Contracts Analyst and wider project teams on a daily basis in the execution of large-scale projects, interacting and collaborating with internal stakeholders, the MSS group of chosen suppliers and major energy providers, such as Petrobras.

Job title and salary range is flexible, depending on your experience.

Key responsibilities:

The successful candidate shall support and assist the Senior Contracts Analyst on all service and project contract matters. Main responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following: 

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws;
  • Provide support to supervise all contractual matter and procurement procedures;
  • Support Senior Contract Analyst to identify project execution which deviates from the requirements of the Contract. Support in responses to non-compliances and follow up of identified matters;
  • Support Senior Contract Analyst in liaising with Client / Consultant / Sub-contractors / Suppliers on contractual matters including payment claims, change orders, variation orders, extension of time, etc.;
  • Assist on preparation of contract documentation and reports, as well as provide support in the drafting of specifications and queries ;
  • Ensure fulfilment and timely finalization of client contract and subcontract obligations. 

Who we are looking for:

  • Hold relevant law or business degree.
  • Previous experience with client operators, suppliers etc is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of standard conditions of EPCI contracts.is a plus.
  • Eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Focused, diligent and a positive attitude.
  • Oral and writing fluency in Portuguese and English.
