What You Will Be Doing
Your main activity and responsibility will be to perform the proper planning of the offshore colleagues for your assigned vessels. It’s important to ensure that this planning in fully compliant with different requirements, for example, local and international maritime regulations, flag, client or vessel specific requirements, company training matrix, etc.

Stakeholder management will be an important activity in your new role. Constant communication with the crew will be part of your daily activities, as well as interaction with our colleagues from different parts of the organization, such as Operations, Technical, HSEQ, Commercial, amongst others. We will count on you to create and support high-performing offshore teams possessing the right competencies, qualifications, and certificates to handle their complex tasks safely and effectively.

Ensure proper workforce planning, development, and promotion to cater for current and future needs in the crew pool. Also, keeping close collaboration with the manning agencies.

Your main tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Manning assigned vessels with qualified and competent offshore crew in accordance with flag state, local content, and company requirements.
  • Liaise with onshore and offshore stakeholders on crewing matters.
  • Support offshore crew personal development.
  • Monitoring of crew and travel budgets for assigned vessels.
  • Responsible for crew related purchase orders and invoice approvals.
  • Attend vessel visits as and when required.
  • Participation in the emergency on call rota.


To succeed in this position
First and foremost, you are communicative and passionate about interacting with different colleagues. You excel at stakeholder management, and you easily communicate with people on different levels.

Relevant background experience in crewing position in the maritime industry, especially with offshore oil and gas, would make your onboarding process smoother.

You thrill by engaging and learning with the operational activities of the company, and you do your best to deliver on the goals settled to you.

Others would identify you as dedicated, self-driven, energized, service minded, positive, able to multitask and maintain focus working in a dynamic and busy environment.

In addition, we hope you can say yes to the following:

  • You hold a seafarer diploma, or bachelor/master’s degree in business administration, HR, or related areas is preferred but not essential.
  • Prior experience in similar role and preferably experience with the offshore industry.
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English.
