Working as a Junior Project Document Controller will give you the great opportunity to collaborate closely with several internal and external stakeholders, making sure, with your ability, to have a timely, accurate and efficient delivery of this project critical service.

Key responsibilities:

As a Junior Project Document Controller, you will join the existing Document Control personnel in Maersk Supply Service Brazil.

As one of the local focal points for this matter, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Support to define and develop scope by understanding and evaluating the Document Control project requirements.
  • To demonstrate, adhere and if necessary, supply advice on improvements to integrated solutions document control processes and procedures for the service.
  • To cooperate with the Project Team, defining their relevant planning and programming.
  • Interface with Project Management Teams for logging and correct filing of all key project deliverables.
  • Ensure proper filing and document information management of all relevant correspondence and project deliverables.
  • Ensure the project team is aware of document requirements and specifications to meet project needs, company standards and industry regulations.
  • To monitor data and technical documentation during the lifecycle of the Project.
  • To ensure that all technical documentation produced on behalf of the Project is in accordance with the Project requirements.
  • Provide or obtain historical documentation as requested.
  • Provide suggestions on improvements and savings within own area of responsibility.
  • Proactively provide knowledge sharing and cost/time/quality awareness.
  • Registering and controlling all internal and external project documents including drawings, and their associated comments and revisions in a document management system as required for our Projects.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone to join the team with:

  • A degree within Business, Document Register, or related areas.
  • Experience as Document Controller.
  • Experience on document Management systems (preferably Proarc) and processes around Project Management.
  • Knowledge of PROARC, SIGEM and GRDT is preferred.
  • Able to generate Performance indicator on the document deliverables as per client requirement.
  • Working experience in Oil & Gas industry is considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of National and International Standards relating to Document Control.
  • You are a strong team player, quickly able to adapt to changes, self-motivated and enjoys delivering high performance.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, pro-active and open in communication with all interfacing parties both internally and externally.
  • Fluent in verbal and writing communication in Portuguese and English is a must have for the position.
