Would you like to be part of an international Company and develop your understanding about offshore crewing? Do you get excited about the prospect of contributing to the green transition by being part of a company that actively takes part in solving the energy challenges of tomorrow?  Then you are in the right place! Maersk Supply Service is looking for two Crew Readiness Co-ordinators.

What We Offer

We offer an exciting position where you will be given responsibility from the start and have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and international environment. The position provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills through insight into our way of doing business globally.

When joining Maersk Supply Service, you work in a culturally diverse environment, where new ideas and different ways of doing things are welcome. We are proud of our diversity and see it as a genuine source of strength.

You will be part of our Global Crewing Support Team, which is providing governance, support, and guidance to our three regional Crewing Teams. In Crewing for offshore vessels there is always something happening, and you will be in contact with our seafarers daily. You will be joining a team of approx. 40 employees in our office in Mandaluyong, where we offer a hybrid work setup and an 8-hour workday.

What You Will Be Doing

Your main responsibility is to ensure that our seafarers of different nationalities have the required documents and equipment to join our vessels. This will involve:

  • Applying for visas and work permits in close collaboration with our regional Crewing Teams
  • Ordering of Personal Protective Equipment (work clothes) for new hired seafarers
  • Applying for endorsements for seafarers based on vessel’s flag state
  • Preparing required documents for specific countries
  • Preparing required documents for sea time confirmation

Who You Are

You have minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar position or relevant administrative experience. It is an advantage if you have experience within crewing and/or within HR activities in the maritime industry.

We expect you to have good coordination skills and a structured approach. You must be able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks. You can prioritize and meet deadlines and handle conflicting priorities. Keeping a clear overview on executed tasks is critical for the role. It is also essential to be able to follow procedures and checklists.

As you will be supporting various nationalities/people, it is vital that you are culturally open-minded, a good communicator and able to establish relationships across geographical boundaries and cultures. You should be proficient in English written and verbally.

You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, and we use Teams as a global communication tool for meetings, chats and sharing of files.

How to Apply

If you can imagine yourself in this role, we look very much forward to hearing from you. Please apply through our website no later than 1 May 2024. We will review and interview on an ongoing basis. If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to reach out to Mette Hviid Bjerre.
