Senior Project Engineer - Tender Support

As Senior Project Engineer you will be part of our Integrated Solutions Department, working from our Aberdeen Office.  The Tender Support Engineer will be responsible for assisting in preparation of win plans and providing technical support to the tender team.

Key responsibilities:

In supporting the preparation of tenders, your day to day responsibilities will be:

  • Review tender lookahead and estimate scope ahead of ITT receipt to provide input to win plan estimate resources.
  • Determine, with tender manager and project manager, a review plan for the tender – dependent on complexity, value and duration.
  • Produce tender technical deliverables such as method statements, storyboards and schedule in conjunction with draughting, planning and support from other engineers.
  • Liaise with procurement department to select third party support, including pricing.
  • Specification and selection of assets
  • Produce weekly update to advise draughting, planning and engineering the resources and requirements for upcoming tenders.
  • Advise tender manager of technical resources required to deliver the scope for input to the tender
  • Ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the tender.
  • Development of methodologies and procedures for subsea construction, decommissioning, towing or mooring installation/repair operations;
  • Liaise with Project Planner, Document Control, Draughting, Project Manager, Tender Manager, Vessel Management and other stakeholders as required to support the tender.
  • Ensure tender compliance with applicable codes and standards;

 

Who we are looking for:

You will have significant tendering experience in engineering of subsea construction or renewables projects, decommissioning, towing, mooring installation/repair, IRM projects with particular experience in diverless operations.

You are pragmatic, happy working in a fast paced environment, experienced in managing proposals and able to manage multiple scopes at once.
