You will be able to develop your administrative and independent working skills when working for Maersk Supply Service as a Student Assistant supporting the Crew Recruitment and Operations team.

An exciting position in an international team and you will become part of the Crew Operations department, who are dedicated to securing the right crew for our specialized vessels around the world. We currently manage over 1000 offshore crew members, and we are constantly recruiting new seafarers and cadets. You will gain insight into many different processes related to recruitment administration in the offshore world.

You will be trusted with your own responsibilities from the start and have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills through insight into our way of doing business globally.

You will be working approximately 20-25 hours per week, preferably 3 days per week. We have flexible working days and hours for students, and we are of course flexible and able to accommodate your studies and exams.

Key responsibilities:

Your main responsibility will be to support the Crew Recruitment and Operations team in the daily work. This will involve:

Coordinate internal events for our cadets, new hires, and candidates for promotion

Assisting with onboarding of new seafarers e.g. ordering and coordinate delivery of personal protective equipment for cadets and crew

Maintaining different compensation calculations

Respond to and redirect incoming applications and CVs

Maintaining the offshore career website

Creation of new seafarers in crew personnel system and uploading of certificates and documents

Who we are looking for:

You will be taking on a supportive role in the team, where it is important that you are able to manage different tasks, both small and large, independently. You are always systematic in your approach to your work, ensuring that everything is executed on time.

Furthermore, you:

Are currently studying bachelor’s degree or early master’s - we are open to your line of study

Are proactive and takes ownership of tasks

Are diligent and structured in working with data, presentations and deadlines

Are proficient in Microsoft Office

Like to work with people, and are interested in the dynamics of working together as a team

Are fluent in English (Danish language skills are not a pre-requisite for the position).

Hold a Danish residency and work permit
