Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Assistant for Brazil will act as a key partner to our leaders in Latin America. You will be responsible for driving all commercial regulatory, process and business initiatives by guiding and managing all mandatory and required administration processes. That means that you will have the opportunity to be a key player to support the Commercial and Operations teams, to have full ownership of commercial regulatory processes, to support the running of our business in Brazil.

You will act as trusted advisor on all regulatory matters for the leaders of operations, commercial and project teams in a very dynamic organization. You will be working both on the mid- to long-term business strategy planning in support our local demands, always in coordination and supported by commercial team.

We are currently working on several strategic priorities, which you will play an important part in identifying, co-designing and implementing. In other words, you will enable the business by being very close to the action.

This position is located in Rio de Janeiro office.

Key responsibilities:

  • Guide and manage all related and required processes and matter of below list, but not limited to:
  • ANTAQ - REB processes, vessels circularization process, EBN licenses, approvals, fleet change communication and approvals
  • Maritime Court, Port and Coast Authority – REB, Maritime Ownership Records, REB, PSC inspection, AJB, AIT and CTS issuance, regulatory compliance monitoring.
  • ANATEL – Vessel Telecom/Radio Station License. 
  • Customer Relationship Manager – CRM
  • Customers Procurement Systems (Petronect, Ariba, IFS and, similars)

Who we are looking for:
Others would identify you as dedicated, self-driven, energized, service minded, positive, able to multi task and maintain focus working in a dynamic and busy environment. You are known to communicate effectively, and you have a passion for the industry:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Administration, Production Engineering or related courses
  • Previous experience in similar role preferably in the offshore industry is considered a plus
  • Fluent in verbal and written communication in Portuguese and English
  • Balance strategic, operational and transactional tasks, appropriate prioritisation and multi-tasking
  • Able to navigate and have interface with different levels of seniority in the company
  • Ability to work in a global team
  • Self-driven and ability to work independently, but also a team player
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Strong business acumen, with customer centric focus
  • Problem Solver, proactive and process oriented

Working conditions:

  • Applicants should have a Work Permit to work in Brazil.
