As a Fleet Auditor in Maersk Supply Service you will join a highly dedicated HSSEQ Team who strives to constantly improve the vessels’, as well as the whole company’s, performance within Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality. As a fleet auditor you will be a member of the QA Team which is a team of five persons, hereof two fleet auditors. The position requires approximately 200 per year of which 20 days are in the office in Lyngby, Denmark.


Key responsibilities:

Your key responsibility is to ensure compliance with our Management System, Unisea,  through internal audits and inspections of our vessels and our offices located around the globe.

Further responsibilities are: 

  • Providing input to procedures and processes on a daily basis as well as during reviews of the Management System.
  • Ensuring compliance with the ISM Code, ISPS Code, ISO 14001, OVID and other company, industry and customer requirements, and thereby provide guidance and coaching to vessels and office personnel in matters relating to the continuous improvement
  • Participating in incident investigations as required

Additionally, you will conduct yard and supplier audits to ensure they meet MSS HSSEQ standards.

You are the link between our onshore and offshore employees and drive and promote a strong safety culture for all employees.


Who we are looking for:

You have a background within the maritime industry and insight into the operation of offshore support vessels, including in-depth knowledge of maritime legislation.

Candidates should preferably be certified by a recognized body as an auditor.

Ideally you have certification in:

  • International Safety Management (ISM)
  • ISO 9001:2015
  • ISO 14001:2015
  • International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) (SSO/CSO/FPSO)
  • Kelvin TOP-SET 3 day course or equivalent
  • HUET

However, training will be provided if required.

As a successful candidate, your work ethics and people-skills will be as important as your technical knowledge and industry experience. Our business language is English and it is therefore necessary that you are proficient, including the ability to understand advanced technical documentation.

As the position requires approximately 200 travel days of work per year, of which 20 days will take place in our head office in Lyngby, you should be located with convenient access to an international airport, preferably in the northern part of Europe due to the need of travelling to our headquarters in Denmark.
